- Objectives

On completion of this course, you will be able to :

  • Master all the steps involved in carrying out a food safety management system audit in accordance with FSSC 22000v5.1, ISO 22003 and ISO 22000.
  • Pass the CQI and IRCA Food Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor exam, a prerequisite for becoming a CQI and IRCA Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) certified auditor.
  • Adopt behaviors adapted to conducting a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) audit.

Any professional wishing to perform ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000v6 part 1, 2 and 3 audits and become an FSMS auditor certified by CQI and IRCA.

- Prerequisites

Training: have the following knowledge:
The following SMSDA principles and concepts:

  • Implementation or use of a food safety management system in the agri-food sector.
  • This includes private programs such as IFS, BRC, GLOBALGAP, FSSC 22000 and/or any other program - encompassing the components of a management system.
  • Food safety regulations
  • Previous audit experience.

      - The exam lasts 2 hours and is divided into 4 parts. Only the ISO 22000 standard is authorized.
      - A minimum mark is required for each part. In addition, the minimum overall mark required is 70%.
