AFNOR Italia recently organized the online seminar "UNI/PdR 125 Certification: Integrating Gender Equality into Business Processes, " dedicated to exploring national practices for gender equality certification and understanding how to promote and monitor inclusive organizational policies and systems.

The event, held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., was attended by numerous professionals, including Human Resources Managers, Sustainability Managers, consultants, and company executives interested in learning more about the operational and strategic aspects of certification.

During the seminar, the experts presented:

  • the requirements of UNI/PdR 125:2022 and its impact on business processes;
  • aggiornamenti normativi e opportunità di finanziamento;
  • The role of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and management systems in promoting equality.

A step forward toward inclusion

Certification according to UNI/PdR 125:2022 helps organizations structure an effective management system to promote gender equality, defining indicators and improvement objectives in six main areas of intervention, including culture and strategy, governance, HR processes, pay equity, and work-life balance.

This path not only demonstrates a concrete commitment to gender equality, but also represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen social responsibility, improve market attractiveness, and access any incentives and benefits provided by the certification system.
