Have your products UKCA marked to comply with the new UK regulations on the marketing of manufactured products in Great Britain. CE marking will no longer apply, allowing you to continue your business.

FIND OUT MORE ABOUT UKCA MARKING
The UKCA mark is the product mark used for products marketed in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). AFNOR UK is accredited to issue the UKCA mark for the following products:
- gas appliances and related products
- construction products
- Fire safety products.
ENSURING A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION
Where a product is covered by the UKCA scheme, the UKCA marking must be used from 11pm on December 31, 2022. In most cases, if your product was placed on the UK market with a CE mark before 23:00 on December 31, 2022, it does not need to be noticed or recertified to UKCA requirements and can continue to circulate on the UK market until it reaches its end user. This also applies if the CE-marked product has been assessed and certified by a UK-based conformity assessment body before 11pm on December 31, 2020. Existing imported stock does not need to be re-tested and re-marked for products manufactured, CE marked and imported under contract into the UK before 11pm on December 31, 2022. There are different rules for construction products.
After 11pm on December 31, 2022, the CE mark can no longer be used, and the UKCA mark will have to be used instead when placing products on the UK market. The government intends to introduce legislation allowing the UKCA mark to be placed on a label affixed to the product or on a document accompanying the product until 11pm on December 31, 2025. This provision is intended to apply to most products requiring UKCA marking, unless special rules are in place for your specific product sector.
