The upcoming ISO 9001:2026 standard is designed to keep the standard aligned with changes in the economic, technological, and organizational landscape, providing companies with an increasingly effective tool to improve their performance, increase resilience, and meet the expectations of customers and stakeholders.
In anticipation of the publication of the new edition, AFNOR Italia is organizing a refresher course to explore the main changes planned and provide organizations with the tools they need to prepare for the transition process.

Why was ISO 9001 revised?
In recent years, organizations have faced profound changes: the digitization of processes, new ways of working, a growing focus on risk management, sustainability, supply chain resilience, and rapidly evolving technologies.
To remain the international benchmark for quality management, ISO 9001 has undergone a revision process aimed at updating certain content and strengthening the standard’s ability to meet the needs of modern businesses.
While maintaining the approach based on continuous improvement and process-based management, the new edition will include clarifications and updates that will be important to understand from the very beginning of the transition.
