On completion of this course, you will be able to :
- Master all the steps involved in carrying out an Environmental Management System audit in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 19011 and ISO 17021.
- Improve your auditing skills by adapting them to the conduct of an Environmental Management System audit.
- Pass the CQI and IRCA Environmental Management System auditor conversion exam, a prerequisite for becoming a CQI and IRCA ISO 14001:2015 certified third-party auditor/audit manager (EMS).
WHO IS CONCERNED?
Any professional wishing to carry out 1st, 2nd and 3rd part environmental management system audits, and become a CQI and IRCA ISO 14001 EMS auditor.
Has the following knowledge:
- management systems (MS): the PDCA cycle, the main elements of an MS and the correlation between management responsibility
policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continuous improvement - environmental management system (EMS): improving environmental performance, complying with regulations, achieving environmental objectives
objectives - ISO 14001 requirements and the terms and vocabulary commonly used in an EMS,
- have completed a CQI and IRCA-certified audit manager/auditor training course (or equivalent) in another discipline and passed the examination
the examination (a certificate of successful completion will be requested).
To validate their registration, trainees must agree to meet the above prerequisites.
