Ulaanbaatar, July 14, 2025 - In a landmark celebration of diplomacy and cultural partnership, Afnor International was proudly represented by Moncertf LLC at the French National Day reception hosted by the French Embassy in Mongolia. This year's event was particularly significant, commemorating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Mongolia, established in 1965.
Hosted at the French Ambassador's residence in Ulaanbaatar, the reception brought together senior officials, diplomats, business leaders and cultural representatives to celebrate July 14th - a symbol of the fundamental values of liberty, equality and fraternity.
Representing the AFNOR Group, Moncertf reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Franco-Mongolian cooperation in the fields of quality infrastructure, international standards and sustainable development. Since 2016, Moncertf has been AFNOR's official partner in Mongolia, playing a key role in certifying Mongolian organizations to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 27001.
Visiting the AFNOR stand, Her Excellency Corinne Perera da Silva, Ambassador of France to Mongolia, underlined the depth of bilateral relations:
"This year, as we celebrate 60 years of friendship between France and Mongolia, we also pay tribute to the people and institutions that have built bridges between our two countries. Moncertf's work with AFNOR is a shining example of this enduring partnership."
Mr. Bilguun Ganbold, Managing Director of Moncertf, expressed his pride in representing AFNOR on this historic occasion:
"It is an honor to represent the AFNOR Group in this symbolic year. Our collaboration reflects a shared vision of excellence, innovation and trust - values that resonate deeply in both France and Mongolia."
To date, Moncertf has organized audits for over 40 Mongolian organizations on behalf of AFNOR, including high-level certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 awarded to the "National Data Center" and the "National Statistical Office of Mongolia". These efforts testify to the growing demand for internationally recognized standards in both the public and private sectors.
The evening concluded in a warm atmosphere, with French gastronomy, live music and convivial exchanges, illustrating the spirit of cooperation that characterizes six decades of diplomatic relations. For Moncertf and Groupe AFNOR, the event was not only a celebration of the French national holiday, but also a reaffirmation of their role in the future of Franco-Mongolian collaboration.
