This course offers auditors the opportunity to enhance their skills in Energy Management System auditing.
Target audience
Any professional wishing to carry out Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 Energy Management System audits, and become a CQI and IRCA ISO 50001:2018 (EnMS) auditor.
On completion of this course, you will be able to :
- Master all the steps involved in carrying out an Energy Management System audit
- Adopt behaviors adapted to conducting an Energy Management System audit
- Pass the CQI and IRCA Energy Management System Lead Auditor exam, a prerequisite for becoming a certified CQI and IRCA EnMS auditor.

Training :
Anyone with prior knowledge of ISO 50001 and management system audits, who has already carried out audits and completed a CQI and IRCA (or equivalent) certified audit manager training course in another discipline, and who has passed the exam (a certificate of successful completion will be requested).
In addition, trainees should be familiar with the following energy management principles and concepts:
- principles of combustion, heat transfer and energy flow
- relevant sources of energy regulation, guidelines and standards
- methods and technologies for increasing efficiency energy sources, costs, tariffs, scheduling and measurement units
- energy consumption data analysis methods
- energy performance indicators, performance monitoring and measurement
- the impact of organizational processes and equipment on energy efficiency
- electricity consumption: motors, drives, lighting, computers
This training course is only accessible to people whose pre-requisites have been validated (detailed above) prior to registration.
