Objectives
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Master all the steps involved in carrying out an Environmental Management System audit in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 19011 and ISO 17021.
- Improve your auditing skills by adapting them to the conduct of an Environmental Management System audit.
- Take the CQI and IRCA Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor Conversion Exam, a prerequisite for becoming a CQI and IRCA ISO 14001:2015 Certified Audit Leader / Third-Party Auditor
- ISO 14001:2015 Auditor Conversion Training (EMS) certified by CQI and IRCA under reference number 18067 (PR338)
Who is affected?
Any professional wishing to conduct first-, second-, and third-party audits of Environmental Management Systems and become a CQI and IRCA ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) auditor.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites: Candidates must have the following knowledge:
- Management systems (MS): the PDCA cycle, the key components of an MS, and the relationship between management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review, and continuous improvement
- Environmental Management System (EMS): improving environmental performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving environmental objectives
- The requirements of ISO 14001 and the terms and vocabulary commonly used in an EMS,
- Have completed a CQI- and IRCA-certified audit manager/auditor training program (or equivalent) in another discipline and have passed the exam (proof of passing the exam will be required)
