In a significant endorsement that will support exports to European Union (EU) and UK markets, QUANG NINH CONSTRUCTION AND CEMENT JSC with its LAM THACH Plant in VIET NAM is the first cement plant in the large Vietnamese cement industrial sector to have received both CE and NF marking for its products, two stringent global quality norms validating LAM Thach cement’s adherence to higher standards in cement production in Europe. NF is a collective certification mark, the exclusive property of AFNOR in France.
The Portland cement CEM I 52.5N CE PM CP2 NF manufactured in the LAM THACH plant (2,2 Million tons production capacity) in Ha Long Bay region (Northern part of Viet Nam, near the Hai Phong Container port) has been passing successfully the requirements of NF 002:2023, NFP 15-317:2023 and NFP 15-318:2023 standards for high performance cements suitable for Sea Works and Pre-Cast concrete.
Recently AFNOR International has announced that the Portland cement CEM I 52.5N CE PM CP2 NF has been passing the carbon footprint verification and LAM THACH PLANT has also been passing the greenhouse gas verification, confirming that the quantity of GHG emission and the GHG statement comply with ISO international standards.
