Choosing to become a CSR Commitment sends a strong signal: that of an organisation that takes responsibility for the impact of its decisions and is committed to the sustainable development of its activities. Engagé RSE, the label that makes a difference!
One of our 70 CSR experts assesses your CSR approach based on international standards such as ISO 26000. With the Engagé RSE label, structure your approach, progress through concrete actions and display your performance thanks to a logo issued by a trusted third party.
The Engagé RSE label is the reference label today for assessing the maturity of organisations' CSR approaches based on ISO 26000. The Engagé RSE label is aimed at all types of organisations (companies, associations or regions), regardless of their CSR maturity, the size of the entity or the sector of activity.
THE BENEFITS OF THE LABEL
The Engagé RSE label has several advantages for organisations engaged in mature CSR processes. It is a tool :
- strategic reflection and appropriation of CSR issues
- internal mobilisation
- to build, structure and improve its CSR approach
- to enhance the credibility of its CSR approach among internal and external stakeholders
The Engaged CSR Label is based on a reference framework made up of 8 chapters in which 55 evaluation criteria are distributed, challenging the organisation on all 7 principles and 7 central questions of the international standard ISO 26000.
WHY CHOOSE THE COMMITTED CSR LABEL?
A label connected to the major sustainable development benchmarks
The Engaged CSR Label is also linked to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and allows organisations to obtain an overview of the level of contribution of their CSR approach to the 2030 Agenda. The Engagé RSE label is also a real strategic choice for CSR managers: each of the 55 criteria of the reference framework are linked to the GRI Standards, the 10 principles of the Global Compact and the expectations of the DPEF (article 225) in order to facilitate the extra-financial reporting work of CSR departments.
A community of "CSR committed" organisations
Being awarded the Engagé RSE label sends a strong signal: that of an organisation that takes responsibility for the impact of its decisions and is committed to the sustainable development of its activities. AFNOR Certification is proud to bring together a community of more than 220 labelled organisations in France and abroad and more than 600 organisations committed to the "Committed to CSR" solutions.
Joining this community will allow you to join a network of organisations sharing the same issues, to exchange between operational staff, to compare your approaches, projects and actions, to compare your indicators and to share your feedback, obstacles and key success factors... to improve, together, around common values.
Additional promotion of your label by marking products/packaging/technical notices
You have the possibility to put a variation of the Engagé RSE logo on the packaging of your products. As the ENGAGÉ RSE logo cannot be used to individually mark the products manufactured, a brand block has been specially designed for this purpose in order to avoid any risk of confusion with a product certification.
International recognition through the Responsibility Europe brand
Issued by AFNOR in France, INDR in Luxembourg and Ecoparc in Switzerland, the Responsibility Europe label adds international recognition to companies and other organisations that have been awarded the label in their respective countries, reinforcing the credibility and legibility of their actions: a company awarded the "Engagé RSE" label in France, for example, can also carry the Responsibility Europe label. The same applies to holders of the ESR Responsible Company label in Luxembourg and the EcoEntreprise CSR label in Switzerland.
THE MAIN COMMITMENTS ASSESSED
The evaluation follows a precise logic:
- Demonstrate its ability to identify its own CSR challenges in relation to its context and the expectations of its key stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, financiers, local authorities, etc.)
- Deploying managerial and operational practices relevant to these issues
- Manage the associated results in order to improve its overall performance
Each of the areas of CSR will be analysed at the level of all your activities:
- Your strategy / governance
- Implementation of concrete CSR practices and managerial deployment (including communication)
- Taking CSR into account in HR practices and working conditions
- The operational deployment of these practices within your production processes
- The implementation of your territorial anchoring
