ISO 22000 Certification is a risk management tool designed for all players in the agri-food chain. It ensures the safety of foodstuffs and the supply of safe products to consumers in order to meet European health regulations.

WHAT IS ISO 22000 CERTIFICATION?

ISO 22000 certification confirms that your organization is in line with the requirements of standard ISO 22000 on the food safety management system. Standard ISO 22000 is based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis – Critical Control Point) principles.

The revised version of standard ISO 22000, published in 2018, simplifies the standard and sets out the terminology and definitions. It uses the same unified framework structure as that of the other ISO management system standards, thus improving their compatibility. ISO 22000:2018 promotes the process approach by using the PDCA cycle on two levels: one covers the overall food safety management system framework and the other is related to performing operational activities.
